Ushuaia Things to See and Do

Claiming to be the “southernmost city in the world” (which it is, aside from tiny Puerto Williams a bit further south in Chile), Ushuaia is perhaps worth visiting for this reason alone. But for the many people who make their way here by air or by boat—Ushuaia is also a stopping-off point for cruises into the Beagle Channel or to the Falkland Islands—there are plenty of activities to warrant a long stay, from skiing to organized trips to Antarctica.
