El Jardín
This youth hostel in downtown Ushuaia appeals to the adventurous, backpacking types. The rooms and bathrooms are shared, but the prices include breakfast, kitchen facilities and let’s not leave out the panoramic view of both the Beagle Channel and the Martial Glacier. Accordingly to its name, El Jardín has a 600 sq. meter inside garden, in addition to an artificial climbing wall, ping pong, a BBQ and medical assistance — in case of any unexpected frostbite or whatnot.
