From funky backpackers' hostels, to low-key family lodges and luxury resorts with spas and golf courses, Ushuaia has accommodation for nearly every traveler--though it does tend to be a bit pricey. During high season in January and February, it’s essential to reserve in advance. In the winter, many hotels close for the season; those that stay open typically offer slightly reduced rates. In warmer months, camping is available at La Pista del Andino in Club Andino, Ushuaia’s ski area; at Kawi Yoppen on Ruta Nacional kilometer 3; and at Camping Municipal, 10 kilometers west of town towards Tierra del Fuego National Park.
