Las Hayas Resort Hotel, located three kilometers outside of town on the road to Glacier Martial, offers elegant accommodations, stunning views, and a variety of amenities to appease the discerning traveler. The hotel boasts one of the only swimming pools in Ushuaia (heated and indoors, of course), a gym, spa, indoor squash courts, a business center and conference rooms. Guests are also entitled to automatic membership at the local golf club during their stay. There are two on-premise restaurants: formal Luis Marshal, considered to be one of the best in the area, and a more casual restaurant, where guests dine in a charming indoor garden. Rooms are spacious and quiet, and are very heavily decorated (perhaps a little overdone) with upholstered walls, tapestries, and sweeping curtains. The hotel offers a shuttle service to town during summer months.
