Sport and recreation - Other Activity Sucre - Bolivia

Sucre is the proud owner of an outdoor swimming pool, found on the eastern edge of Parque Bolivar. They have lane swimming midday-2.30 p.m. Monday to Friday and 2-5 p.m. at the weekend. It costs $0.75. The pool is covered by a plastic awning so it’s not exactly ‘outdoor’ but it’s pretty close.

Sucre Tennis Club has four clay courts and is situated just a little further north than the swimming pool on Parque Bolívar. Courts cost about $5 per person, per hour and you can also hire rackets and balls for $1.50 per person. It’s open in the mornings, Monday to Friday.

If you fancy trying out something local, there are plenty of Wally courts around town, basically indoor volleyball where you can use the walls as part of the game. There are also plenty of gyms that have exercise classes and weights.

Other Activity

Here are other activities in and around Sucre that may be of interest: Cultural centers and TA Theatre and Cinema.
