A wonderful little hotel just half a block from the main plaza, the Grand Hotel is all brightly colored walls, potted plants and trinkets. Most of the rooms are located around two sunny courtyards – one set up like a garden, with shrubs and a fountain, and the other with old-fashioned street lamps and tables and chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast. There’s a lot of attention to detail here and it’s very homey. Grand Hotel has a good restaurant on-site and a coffee bar. This hotel is of a better standard than some more expensive ones in the city and offers excellent value.
