Getting Around Sucre

You can easily walk around Sucre’s whitewashed town centre, where most of its churches and museums can be found. To get further afield, there are plenty of bus routes that head to surrounding villages and attractions – your hotel should be able to point you in the right direction, if not ask a local! Buses cost just over $0.20 (Bs1.50). You can grab a taxi just about anywhere; a trip will cost you $0.60 (Bs4) per person but you can negotiate if there’s a few of you. Radio taxis cost $0.70 (Bs5) per person. A taxi from the airport will cost you around $4 (between Bs25 and Bs30).
