Superlimp is a block away from Plaza 25 de Mayo (Calle Estudiantes 26, open Monday – Saturday 8:30� a.m. – 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., closed Sunday, Tel: 4-646-0575) and offers quick, reliable daily service – if you get your clothes there in the morning, they can normally be ready by that same evening. They charge $1.30 (Bs9) a kilo. If you’ve been on the road for months and haven’t done any washing, Laverap (Calle Bolívar 617, near corner of Calle Audiencia Grau, open Monday – Saturday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Sundays and holidays, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.) charge $3.50 per machine, which can hold up to four kilos. You’ll end up paying the same for smaller amounts though.
