The Independencia can be found half a block from Plaza 25 de Mayo in an interesting historical building. They offer 31 rooms and four suites around sunny patio areas. The quarters come with a comfy chair as well as table and chair but won’t win any prizes for design. The bathrooms are a decent size and have a bath as well as a shower. Prices include a buffet breakfast. One of the conference rooms has a beautiful 16th-century mural and is worth a look for history buffs.
