The Eva Palace Hotel couldn’t be more centrally located, about 10 meters from San Francisco plaza on the main tourist street of Calle Sagárnaga. The carpeted rooms are a good size with lots of furniture, good mattresses, a fridge and heating – which you’ll be extremely thankful for in the depths of winter. For a few dollars more you could have a suite complete with mini-bar and Jacuzzi. The breakfast is basic but you get to eat it in the elegant comedor area downstairs with the La Paz sunshine streaming through the skylight. The staff is helpful and makes you feel at home.
