Whatever type of accommodation you’re looking for; there should be a hotel in La Paz that fits the bill. Most of the upmarket hotels are found near the Prado and along Avenida Arce, or in the Zona Sur part of La Paz. These international hotels come with all the amenities you will need, including gyms, business centers and good on-site restaurants.

Mid-range accommodation can be found all over town, but is especially prevalent in the Rosario district, near the main tourist street of Calle Sagánaga. Budget accommodation is also found in this area, especially around Calle Sagánaga. La Paz also comes well-equipped with backpacker hostels, which tend to be in the centre of town. If you’re looking for something different, you could try a family run guesthouse or an apart-hotel, which are more like fully equipped flats.
