The Cine Teatro Municipal 6 de Agosto reopened its doors in September 2008 after a complete refurbishment. Here you can catch monthly film festivals and new movies in a modernized movie theatre complete with an up-to-date sound system, new projector and comfy seats. There’s a café in the lobby, with mock film reel tables and a movie poster mural on the wall, which serves coffee, wine, beer and cakes.
