Hotel Rosario del Lago is a luxurious hotel on the shores of Lake Titicaca with a prime location to catch every breathtaking sunset to spill over the lake. This colonial resort is decorated with local indigenous blankets, artwork and relics and perfectly ties these comforts in with modern amenities such as the internet. There are 24 rooms, a mix of singles, doubles, suites and cabanas, with hot water (and great water pressure!), cable TV, large windows overlooking Lake Titicaca and lots of space. The restaurant is open for breakfast (buffet included in the rate), lunch and dinner. The cooks whip up delicious local fare and the infamous trout that thrives in Lake Titicaca is cooked in a variety of ways, all of which are tasty. Prices are great too. Tours can be organized through Turisbus, the in-house travel agency, and their guides are extremely knowledgable and friendly. Hotel Rosario del Lago is an unforgettable experience on the shores of the highest navigable lake in the world!

They saved me money

The first class service, the views of the lake from my room, the restaurant with it's wide choice of menu and the best thing was the help I received when they found my passport entry stamp to be missing. With their guidance I was able to save myself a large fine at the border on my exit from Bolivia.
