Community Tourism could be a mistaken for the town's tourism bureau, but it is actually an up-market agency that runs sustainable tours through a network of communities around Lake Titicaca. The tours are expensive, but a lot of the money goes towards making sure the trips are authentic and do not harm the communities involved. The cost is $185 (1300 Bs.) for the two day tour, which visits three islands (Isla del Sol, Isla de la Luna, and the Islas Flotantes). Community Tourism also offers special day trips, which allow visitors to experience Amarya culture on the Isla del Sol and bike riding around Copacabana. Swing by the office for details and dates.
