Things to Do in Potosi

+ Add a Photo

By Catherine Ellis

Potosí offers an array of things to see and do. The main attractions are tours to the cooperative mines, although visitors have a wealth of other options for things to do in the town. The famous Casa de la Moneda is located in the heart of the city, as are many beautiful, ornate churches and fine buildings. Many tour operators offer city tours, which are well worth the money for the informative and helpful information that is given. Excursions further afield are a great way to explore Potosí’s surroundings. A trip to the Langunas del Kari Kari is a great option for those who would like to do some trekking in the area.
