Buena Vista Things to See and Do

Buena Vista’s main attraction is the beautiful Parque Nacional Amboró, which is literally on the village’s doorstep. It’s easy to arrange trips with a guide in Buena Vista, or in Santa Cruz beforehand. Many of the village’s bigger hotels offer guided walks in the forest or have trails you can follow, and have horses and mountain bikes for hire. There is also great bird watching in the park and its surrounds. You can also support a number of community tourism projects in the area, including taking a coffee tour or staying at the Candelaria EcoAlbergue, where you can observe the handicraft workshop.
