Curichi Marsh - Other Activity Buena Vista - Bolivia

Situated less than two km south of Buena Vista, Curichi Marsh provides a great spot to go bird watching and enjoy nature. The reserve is made up of 380 hectares of wetlands and forest and has a large lagoon at its heart. The area was created to protect Buena Vista’s water supply, but also serves as the perfect habitat for herons, egrets and hoatzins, as well as housing mammals such as armadillo, deer and paca, a large rodent popular for its meat. There’s also an observation tower with good views of the nature reserve.

Other Activity

Here are other activities in and around Buena Vista that may be of interest: Río Surutú and Inglesia de los Santos Desposorios and Plaza Principal.
