A museum, tour provider and hotel rolled into one, Casa España is a good place to touch base while in Concepción. The museum displays arrows and other instruments used by the ethnic group los ayoréos, and also has pottery, palm weavings and musical instruments of the Chiquitos. There’s also a description of the history of the Chiquitania. Casa España is also the base of Hombre and Naturaleza, who can organize trips to local communities, and the manager Hilario is also a tour guide. They also rent out beds in clean, large rooms with bunk beds (with fan and private bath)for $6 per person.
