Santa Cruz and The Eastern Lowlands Hotels
As most of the popular tourist destinations are within only a few hours from Santa Cruz, the city is a great place to stay in between trips. That said, most hotels in the city are on the pricier side. There are budget options, but they're harder to find. Most accommodations within the rainforests are tent camps or cabins, but there are a number of nicer eco-lodges located in the outskirts of the jungle.
