Museo Guaraní - Museum Santa Cruz - Bolivia

This interesting museum documents the culture of the Guaraní, an indigenous group native to the lowlands who still maintain their own language and customs. Although small, this museum gives you the chance to learn about the lives of these forest dwelling tribes, who are very different to the more well-known Andean indigenous groups. On display you will find bows and arrows, ceramic pots and ceremonial artefacts, including masks and musical instruments. It’s situated across from the zoo, on the third ring.

Open Monday to Friday 9 a.m.-midday, 1-4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Tercer Anillo Externo (on third outer ring), opposite Santa Cruz Zoo
