To La Paz – Direct buses leave daily between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Bolivar, Trans Copacabana I MEM, Sind. Copacabana and Cosmos all run some more comfortable bus cama services. Journey time is about 16 hours and a ticket will cost between $12 and $25.

To Cochabamba (Villa Tunari)– Buses leave every day for Cochabamba between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., and there are also some services leaving in the early evening. The trip takes about 13 hours and will cost between $8 and $17. You can get the buses to drop you off in Villa Tunari, but you might have to pay the full fare to Cochabamba.

To Vallegrande – There is usually an early evening service leaving for Vallegrande about 6.30 p.m. To Sucre (Potosí and Uyuni) – Daily services set out for the bumpy but scenic route to Sucre between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., will some services continuing to Potosí and Uyuni. The journey takes around 15 hours, a lot longer in the rainy season, and a ticket will cost you between $11 and $16.

To Trinidad – Buses to Trinidad leave nightly between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., arriving about 10 hours later. Tickets range between $7.50 and $18. To San Igancio (San Miguel, San Matias) – San Ignacio buses leave every night between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and take about 9 hours. Tickets cost between $10-$17. Buses to San Miguel and San Matias leave at 8 p.m.

To Pueto Suarez and Puerto Quijarro – If you can’t get on the train, there’s daily bus services to Puerto Suarez and Puerto Quijarro leaving between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. To Yaicuiba (Camiri, Villamontes) – Nightly services to Yaicuiba on the Argentine border leave between 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. The trip will take about 12 hours and will cost between $7 and $16. Buses to Villamontes leave at 10 a.m. and at 8.30 p.m.; to Camiri between 9.30 a.m. and 10 a.m., between 1.30 p.m. and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.

To Tarija – There’s daily services for the long haul to Tarija, leaving at 5 p.m. The journey will take about 19 hours and costs around $15.
