Mapajo was wholly set up and operated by the indigenous communities on the Quiquibey River. Set on a beautiful bluff overlooking the river, the lodge offers a variety of attractions, including nature walks, visits to nearby indigenous communities and outdoor adventure. This is a great place to get know two rainforest cultures, the Mosetén and T’simane, and learn how different cultures adapted to life in the rainforest. For the more adventuresome, there are also a few back country campsites where you can stay on longer incursions.
