Getting To and Away From Charazani
Buses to Charazani leave from near La Paz’s cemetery district daily ($4.50 / 30 Bs., 8 - 10 hours), with both TransNorte and Trans Altiplano. Try and book your tickets in advance and get to the bus early before departure. If you’re already west or north of La Paz, try flagging down the buses in Achacahi or Huarina, you’re chances aren’t good, but it is a possibility. To get back to La Paz, plan to leave at 6 p.m. from the Charazani bus offices on the central plaza.
