Getting Around

If you arrive from La Paz, you’ll probably be dropped off at the bus station. From here to the central plaza, you can choose a five minute uphill trek or a taxi ride for $0.71 per person. If you’re staying in one of the accommodations out of the centre, a taxi is probably you’re best option and will cost about $1 per person. There are minibuses that go to the waterfalls and near-by villages, which leave from the corner of Calle Pando and Calle A. Tezana.

Alternatively, you can get a taxi to take you to the waterfalls and back for about $8. Rides can also be arranged to neighboring villages. Minibuses to Yolosita and Yolosa leave from Calle Sagarnaga, next to the plaza. You can get around the central areas on foot, but remember there are a lot of hills.
