Getting Around Oruro

Easily walkable, Oruro is a decent-sized town with accessible public transit if needed. There are mini-buses circling all around town, and taxis are readily available. Expect to pay about $.030 (1B) on the buses and vans, you can flag them down anywhere on the road, destinations are written on the sign in the front window. As far as taxis, the safest option is to phone a radio taxi or hail a cab which is well market with official sign, meter and radio. You should not pay more than $0.50 - $1 / 4 - 6 Bs. per person.
