Ipanema Beach House is a friendly, social hostel located in the heart of Ipanema, only a few blocks from the beach itself.

The dorms are spacious, and comfortable, with bunk beds for either six or nine people. However, if you’re willing to pay a little extra for privacy, the hostel offers private rooms, separate from the main building.

Although it should be illegal to crave a swimming pool when you have the sexiest beach in the world around the corner, you might want to take advantage of the luscious lounge area. This, combined with this amazing location, makes you feel like you’re not on a budget anymore.

The very best part about the pool area is the bar. After trying the local drink, caipirinah, at about every pit stop we made, those they served here were still the best, and possibly the cheapest.

Suck up every precious drop of both the cocktail and the atmosphere, because this place is going to make you remember Rio for a long time to come.
