São Paulo, Brazil
Museum
Although the actual layout of the museum is a bit stark, the art displays are quite impressive. Every month the display on the second floor changes to a different theme or artist, usually from Brazil. The top floor features a Western art display that never changes. Art from different periods and countries dot the walls and several areas are devoted to Brazilian artists. If a Sunday trip fits in your schedule, plan a few extra hours to shop around the antique fair spread out in front of the museum from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. Museum general admission is $9.50, students get in for $4.50, and it’s free for kids under 10 or adults over 60.
