By Zenan Delaney

This small museum located half a block from the main square in Contulmo is dedicated to the first German immigrants that settled in Chile during the 1800s. The museum exhibits the clothes, utensils, tools and arms of those early settlers, as well as Mapuche artifacts. A delight is the collection of old photographs depicting the life of the settler in 19th century Chile.
