This estate was originally given as a gift to the first mayor of Santiago in 1599, and the same family has retained the rights to it over the years. The family’s taste for a more European flavor is reflected throughout the hacienda, especially in the English Room and the French Room. The Hacienda Los Linques is also decorated with family pictures and religious iconography - a break from traditional hotels. The property features beautiful gardens, elegant wines and stables. Due to the hotel's high rates, visitors generally opt to a day tour of the grounds which cost approximately $80. The tour generally includes a welcome cocktail, lunch and a horse show.
