Museo O’Higginiano y Bellas Artes de Talca - Museum Talca - Chile

The museum is a very important feature of Talca - even of the whole Chile. Some of the breaths of the independence movement were first uttered here. The legendary Bernardo O’Higgins lived here as a child and eventually signed the declaration of Chilean independence in 1818. It is now home to historical documents, sculptures, coins, photographs and 19th-century furniture.
