Puerta Natura is a beautiful bed and breakfast located on Cerro Bellavista just down the street from Pablo Neruda's Valparaiso home, La Sebastiana.

It is run by a couple originally from Santiago, Patricio and Maria Eugenia, who are more than friendly and accommodating (Patricio speaks some English). The B&B consists of 5 beautifully-furnished rooms, some with private bathrooms. Much of the furniture is antique and hand-refurbished by the proprietors.

Patricio and Maria Eugenia are trained in Reiki and meditation. Yoga and meditation classes are offered at the facility, as well as massage and spa treatments. A sauna and a small swimming pool are on the premises. Laundry service is available.

They have an absolutely gorgeous meditation room that overlooks the city of Valparaiso, especially breathtaking at night. The B&B is complete with a large, resplendent garden full of fruit trees and nooks where you can read or just relax. Puerta Natura is a perfect place to rejuvenate while taking in the art and culture of Valparaiso. It is slightly pricey, but the experience you'll have here is definitely worth it.  Its almost worth a trip to Valparaiso just to stay at this lovely and idyllic hotel.
