You won’t be able to miss this small museum with its striking moai standing guard outside. The museum documents the lives of the early Chilean peoples from the Norte Grande region, though displays of jewelry, artifacts and pottery. There are also collections from the Moche, Chimú and Nasca cultures of Peru. A separate section holds items from Easter Island, with explanations of how moais were made, and how magic was engraved into the stones. Allow 45 minutes to see everything.
