Vina Del Mar Services
There are a number of banks located on Plaza Jose Francisco Vergara that will exchange American dollars and traveler’s checks.
The Tourist Information Center is on Marina Avenue at Libertad Bridge Corner (just off Plaza JF Vergara). It only provides information about Viña. The post office is located beside the Tourist Information Office.
Sentaur, Avenida Valparaíso 507, provides regional tourist advice for the Valparaíso region. The building can be a bit hard to find so look out for the tower block with the coca-cola sign on top. Sentaur is located inside, on the third floor.
Most hotels provide free internet but there are also several internet cafes located throughout the city. There are numerous pharmacies, especially on the main avenues.
There are several hospitals including Clínica Miraflores on Los Fresnos 276, Tel: (32) 670-897 and Clinica Reñaca, Anabaena 336, Tel: (32) 658-000.
