Museo Regional de la Patagonia houses its eclectic collection in two large rooms and several side galleries. Just about everyone in town, one gathers from the exhibit cards, has donated some item to this museum. The Museo Regional covers geology and zoology, as well as the culture of the Aónikenk (Tehuelche) nation that once lived in the region. The history and culture of the settlers are also presented, with an exhibit of a typical Aisén house. A few paintings by local artists also hang in the museum.
