Getting to and away from Reserva Nacional Coyhaique
The access road to Reserva Nacional Coyhaique is on the Coyhaique – Puerto Aysén road, five kilometers (3 mi) north of Coyhaique. Take any north-bound bus to the crossroads ($3), then walk the 3 kilometers (1.8 mi) uphill to the ranger station. All roads within the park are gravel; in winter snows may close the park roads may to vehicles. A taxi to the park costs $6 – 8.
