Getting to and away from Reserva Nacional Río Simpson

Reserva Nacional Río Simpson is at Km 37 of the Coyhaique – Puerto Aysén road. Buses making the run between the two cities pass by the Administrativo and San Sebastián Sectors. See Coyhaique for details. The last one back to Coyhaique passes by at about 9 p.m.

A gravel road goes to Área de Protección Río Claro. Four-wheel drive is needed. Consult Conaf in Coyhaique for instructions to get there (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m., 2:30-5:30 p.m. Los Coigües s/n, Tel.: 21-2142).
