With its Andean landscape, Chile offers superb opportunities for trekking and climbing. In terms of hiking and trekking, the lake district is a good option, with walks within spectactular landscape. Patagonia is another popular destination for trekking. Climbers frequently head to Volcán Villarrica, close to Púcon, but there are countless other options for climbers to explore. There are a decent selection of tour operators who can provide all of the popular climbs and treks, but also, a number of off-the-the-beaten path options.
