An 18 X 22 km. triangle makes up the three main volcanoes. It is possible to walk around Rapa Nui in a day. You can rent bicycles, motorbikes, quad ATVs and a range of 4X4s. The island’s roads are subject to a 50kmph speed limit, which gives even the driver time to take in the spectacular views and avoid the fauna that frequent the roads. Many tourist sites are poorly marked with posts, so you need to be vigilant.
