This beautiful tourist town has a lot to be proud of fantastic scenery,history,people and two great resaurants Mesita Grande where we had the best wood fired oven pizzas and all sat on a long table sharing stories with other travelers but as I always leave the best for last ill say it in one word"AFRIGONIA" a gem of a restaurant that surprisingly has not been mentioned here or in lonely planet this must be because they opened up close to a year a go,this place kicks with the best curries and most certainly the best cebiche Ive ever had made of fresh salmon from the fjords of Natales marinated in coconut milk and mango and to finish a lovey dessert acompanied buy fresh ground coffee watching people go buy and listening to African music in the back ground yes strange as it seems it is owned buy an african /chilean couple a must go to restaurant excelent from start to finish.
