Since its opening in 2002, Puerto Viejo has been a popular place to eat with travelers. The restaurant specializes in great seafood offerings such as abalone salad, king crab, and the somewhat unusual eel cheeks in mustard sauce. Other offerings from around the globe are available, but the fish options are the best. A little on the upscale side, Puerto Viejo is located close to the port.
