Mediterraneo

Location:
Santa Rosa 68
Puerto Varas, Chile

Restaurant Types:
Mediterranean and chilean fare

By Shanie Matthews

Mediterraneo is a restaurant specializing in food with a Mediterranean and Chilean flare. The menu includes pasta, fish, salads and soups. The food is fresh and tasty, though the prices are a little high in comparison to other dining experiences of the same caliber. There is also a large wine menu but not many choices for the beer connoisseur. The dining area is refreshing and inviting, and has a great view of Lake Llanquihue. Upstairs is the bakery section offering different pastries, cakes and coffee. The restaurant has both smoking and non-smoking areas.
