The Barrio is home to many budget hotels and hostels all of which are well located for transportation and tourism. The beauty of this Barrio is that the hotels can be cheaper than the hostels, meaning better service and quieter place to stay, for less or little extra money. Check them out before you book a hostel in the area. The barrio also has many motels; these are normally rented on an hourly basis by courting couples and lovers. Some do welcome overnight visitors and are cheaper than you might think. However, you should note that motels can present a different noise problem than the hostels sometimes do.
