Shopping at Bellavista Street Fair and Patio Bellavista - Market Santiago - Chile

There are a number of artisan market stalls along Calle Pio Nono and in Patio Bellavista. This is a quick and easy place to buy some souvenirs. The 30-plus booths have a diverse range of high quality goods: custom made boots of any style (they take a week to complete), jewelry made from the Chilean stone Lapiz lazuli, handmade guitars, clothing, art and candles. Be sure to bring cash, since only a few of the vendors accept credit cards. Note, however, that the fair is one of the main tourist thoroughfares and prices are hiked up.
