Accommodations in the vibrant and lively Barrio Bellavista are as varied and eclectic as the writers, artists and backpackers who inhabit them. Many of the hostels are a bit run down, but they do offer the standard budget options available in most of Chile. The bohemian vibe is very strong in Barrio Bellavista, making this the barrio in Santiago to have a wild night out. With the raucous nightlife, many hostels serve no other purpose than to provide a bed to stumble into after the bars close.
