Barrio Bellavista has many moderately priced restaurants that are worth the money. Within the barrio you can find a variety of traditional Chilean restaurants, as well as some of Santiago’s best ethnic restaurants. Most of the area’s eateries can be found on the parallel streets Constitución and Pio Nono, including the trendy Patio Bellavista, which runs between the two. Start by walking down these streets to check out menus, prices and clientele if you can’t make up your mind. Be warned: Bellavista has a reputation for being popular among tourists. Waiters pace like predators in front of their restaurants and will hassle you as you try to make up your mind.
