Those looking for live jazz and a good meal in the Bellavista area should head to El Perseguidor. El Perseguidor (named for Cortázar’s story on the life of jazz musician Charlie Parker) features upscale artisan tapas and traditional Chilean dishes with a bit of flare. Cover charge is $1.000-2.500, depending on the day, and reservations are necessary on Friday and Saturday. Visit the website for details on individual performers. If El Perseguidor is full, however, and you still need your jazz fix, head to Club de Jazz de Santiago —the other hotspot for live jazz— located near Plaza Ñuñoa.
