Iglesia, Convento y Museo de San Francisco

This church is one of the oldest buildings in Chile, built between 1586 and 1628. However, due to earthquakes, it has been restored several times throughout the years. There is a museum on-site that covers the history of the church—interesting, but probably only for die-hard church historians, the others can content themselves with a stroll through the church.

Location:
Avenida Bernardo O’Higgins
Center, Santiago, Chile
