You can choose from traditional Chilean food, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Peruvian, American and Mexican. Most establishments here cater to hungry office workers and many offer a set lunch menu that includes starter, main course, dessert and drink for under $10. Bear in mind that, with a fast turnover, service doesn’t always come with a smile; in most cases you get what you pay for. For a good bargain lunch, head to Avenida Suecia and the restaurants around Metro Los Leones. If you fancy something a bit more upmarket, try the restaurants on Metro Manuel Montt and on Avenida Manuel Montt. Many eateries in Providencia are closed on Sundays.
