Virgen de la Immaculada Concepci贸n - Monument Santiago - Chile

The Virgen de la Immaculada Concepci贸n is a 14-meter high statue of the Virgin Mary that sits atop Santiago鈥檚 highest hill, Cerro San Cristobal. The gleaming white statue with outstretched arms is visible from most parts of the city, especially when illumintated at night. Although it can鈥檛 compete with Rio de Janeiro鈥檚 Christ the Redeemer, it is, nevertheless, an impressive sight. Wear comfortable shoes for the climb.
