With its sleek modern touches, the decidedly Victorian house that holds the Happy House Hostel has a more upscale feel than most other backpacker haunts. The hostel offers both private and dorm rooms, some have their own bathroom. The rates, running from $18 to $95, include breakfast, and discounts are available for longer stays. There is an entertainment room, living room, kitchen, and laundry room on site. It is a bit more expensive than other hostels, but if you want a place with ambiance, this is a wonderful option.
